Mrs. Jodie earned a BS degree in Early Childhood Education from Michigan State University and a Master's Degree in Education from The University of Michigan. She has additional Degrees in Family Community Services (MSU) and Adult Instruction and Performance Technology (U of M). Jodie is the founder of Creative Kids, and a former Associate Professor at Lansing Community College Child Development Program. She is proud to have led Creative Kids to the ONLY Nationally Accredited Child Care Facility in Livingston County for the past 20 years. She has been named “most influential business woman”, winner of the “Governors Quality Care Award”, and Voted BEST Dare care in Livingston county 8 years in a row. She has also led the day care to an impressive “4 star” rating through the Michigan Department of Education. Jodie is married to Dan and has three children Drew, Farrah and Reece, who attend St. Patrick School.

Miss Keri is the LEAD Pre-S Teacher. Keri has a Child Development Associate (CDA), with concentration in Pre-School. She has been an employee of CKLC for over 10 years. She grew up working in her mother’s in-home day care before coming here. She earned her vocational-occupational child care training certificate approved by the Department of Labor and Growth, and has continued her hands on learning with over 16,000 clocked classroom hours. She has been working as the Lead Toddler Teacher for the past few years and has led the program with her effortless and natural teaching style. She enjoys playing music and has been actively playing musical instruments for over 7 years. She also enjoys playing softball, Roller Derby, writing and dancing. Her long term goals are to get married, have a family of her own, and continue to work in education. 

Mrs. Michelle is our Lead Infant Teacher. She has a B.S. degree from Madonna University in Early Childhood Education. She has almost 30 years of classroom experience and has been a part of our team for 8 years. She has been married to her wonderful husband Ron and has 3 beautiful daughters, Jesse, Lizzy Rose and Olivia. She enjoys reading, movies and antique stores. Her future goals are to continue to live in the home that her husband built, and watch her family live happy and healthy lives.

Ms. Sara has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Western Michigan University. She has a Major in Special Education with concentration in Cognitive Impairment & Learning Disabilities. Her Minor is in Early Childhood Education. Sara has had experience in multiple classroom settings and has previous child care experience. Sara is a full time staff member in the Toddler room. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, listening to music, playing sports and traveling! Her goals are to receive a Master’s degree in Education or Business! Sarah comes from a family of 4, and she has a son Logan!
